Located at 2051 Cottman Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19149, Ichiban Buffet operates as a chinese buffet serving Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Philadelphia; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Pennsylvania are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Ichiban Buffet at (215) 728-7222; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Philadelphia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My lady & I had lunch at the Ichiban Buffet for the 3rd time. Unfortunately, my experience today we had was the waitress decides to take my plate off the table with food on it. I spoke up to the lady and said, why are you taking my plate? I'm not even finished. She proceeded to apologize numerous times. 15 seconds after, 2nd waitress came by and took the same plate with food on it. Now, I'm upset for good reason. Within 15 minutes, I went up to the front, spoke to the manager. She was in a total loss when I had a conversation. No clue what I was saying. The woman next to her at the front desk, I voiced my concerned. She then approach the waitress and the waitress lied about her grabbing the plate. It's on camera people. Wake-up and smell the roses! I was approached by the woman the 2nd time who was at the front desk. Told me I have hearing issues. That's when I had enough. I don't RECOMMEND anyone to eat there. Rude behavior from the staff and lied about it. Once again, the camera shows the waitress grabs my plate without asking. Unbelievable! That's the last time I return there again

The food was good at first and the following plates were not to temperature. I was fighting with the ribs and fried cod. I'm sure if I had grabbed different pieces it would havebeenenjoyable. It was 4th of July and the price was raised because of the snow crab legs, which I don't eat. I ended up having to use the bathroom before I left, I wasn't going to make it home. My boyfriend's stomach was fine, we did not eat the same items. I did crack the snow crab legs for him once we were able to get our hands on some. People were filling the plates and getting multiples so that item was moving fast. You basically had to be there as soon as the tray came out or you wouldn't get any. My boyfriend really like the green cake.

maybe the A/C was broken because it was very hot in there HOWEVER: the food was very good, and the vibes were calm and not overwhelming, a few items were mushy (spare rib, blue crab, potsticker) but for the most part i enjoyed everything, my favorite was the lo mein, the fried chicken, the hot wings, the crab rangoon’s and the fried donuts , the fruit was also very fresh and all of the food was fresh as well, i didn’t eat any of the desserts except for ice cream but they had a small selection with carrot cake, plain cheesecake, rice krispy, and a few other things but no cookies brownies regular cakes, automatic gratuity so i end up paying $28 and some change for myself. would definitely recommend giving this place a try ! especially with maryj haha, also they don’t have alcohol

I recently visited this buffet restaurant and had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant is spacious, modern, and beautifully designed, creating a comfortable atmosphere for families, friends, and large groups. The dining area was clean and well-organized, with plenty of seating and a welcoming ambiance that made the experience even more enjoyable. The food selection was impressive, offering a wide variety of dishes to satisfy every taste. From fresh seafood, including shrimp, mussels, crawfish, and clams, to flavorful hot dishes, vegetables, desserts, and fresh fruits, everything was well-prepared and constantly replenished. I especially enjoyed the seafood and the variety of desserts available. The food was fresh, delicious, and served at the right temperature. One thing that stood out was the excellent customer service. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and hardworking. They quickly cleared empty plates, kept the buffet stations clean, and made sure guests had everything they needed. Their professionalism and positive attitude made the dining experience even better. Another great aspect of this restaurant is the reasonable pricing. Considering the large selec
